Frequently Asked Questions
Smirk powder is a fine peppermint flavoured powder which used once or twice a week will keep your teeth looking lighter and brighter.
It cleans away all external staining including red wine, nicotine, tea and coffee etc.
The great thing about it is that, a little pot contains around 6 months supply!
Our powder contains an ingredients which actually help with sensitivity by calming the nerve and forming a barrier over the microscopic holes in your enamel in the same way sensitive toothpastes work.
If you have bleeding/receding gums or damaged teeth, please see a dentist before use (they don’t bite!)
The powder should be used before your normal toothpaste once or twice a week.
Can I use it more often you may ask? The powder is a mild abrasive and this perfectly safe for use 1-2 times a week although we wouldn’t advise daily use.
For the best results dampen your toothbrush and dip into the pot. Make sure your bristles are coated in the powder. Starting in one corner of your mouth brush your teeth using small circular motions. (don’t brush your gums) and brush each section of your mouth for 30 seconds. When completed rinse your mouth out and follow with regular toothpaste.
Use with fixed brace isn’t advised. Please wait until your braces are removed before using. Use with a removable brace is fine.
Yep! It’s totally safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Teeth Whitening Strips
Smirk Teeth Brightening Strips are clear tooth whitening strips which mould to your teeth. Cleanly and neatly.
They target deep staining within tooth enamel to brighten teeth from the inside.
Most users won’t experience any sensitivity. The strips don’t contain peroxide so therefore shouldn’t make your teeth sensitive. If you do experience any sensitivity please stop using. You may want to try our powder instead as it contains a desensitiser.
The instructions for use are on the packet.
Sorry usage isn’t advised when pregnant or breastfeeding. You can however use our powder safely in both circumstances.
Sorry please don’t use any whitening products with fixed braces. You can use this safely with removable clear aligner systems.
